Carlos Sarria is a Spanish artist based in London since the late nineties.
Born in Málaga, he studied architecture at ‘Escuela Superior de
Arquitectura’, Seville, Spain, and he is currently involved professionally in
advanced computer graphics.
Son of a mathematics teacher with an extensive humanistic library, Carlos
Sarria´s practice has been driven by the pursuit to understand human
perception, memory and imagination within our technologically alienated
environment.
Carlos Sarria´s work is in constant search for the psychological implications
of distorted perspective and instability within the rigid frame of modernity.
Intensive attention to insignificant minutiae, dislocated from its situation,
forms the roots of his artistic production.
